Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and optimization of passivation processes and equipment.

• Drive projects from concept through to technology transfer readiness, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.

• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Prepare and present technical and project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in semiconductor process development.

We expect the candidate to have:

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in semiconductor process development, particularly in thin film deposition, chemical processing, or passivation technologies.

• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope.

• Proficiency in risk analysis, project planning, and resource management.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written);

• Experience from  industry is required for this position.

It would be seen as a clear advantage if the candidate also has:

• Hands-on experience with semiconductor processing techniques

• Experience with technology transfer in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

• Experience with manufacturing processes of laser diodes or any other optoelectronic device is seen as an advantage

• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment design and optimization
