Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Europe’s leading semiconductor exhibition will feature Comptek in the exclusive SEMI Startup Showcase — part of the Technology Time Warp experience that highlights breakthrough technologies shaping the future of electronics.
Comptek’s selection selection underscores its role in advancing passivation and surface engineering for compound semiconductor devices, bridging the gap between R&D and scalable manufacturing.
Showcasing Scalable Passivation and Pilot-Line Capabilities
At this year’s event, Comptek will present its industrial pilot line — a major advancement in scaling the company’s proprietary Kontrox™ passivation process for power electronics and photonics applications.
Integrated with ALD processes, the pilot line provides a complete workflow from surface preparation and passivation to in-line optical characterization, meeting world-class semiconductor process standards.
In addition, Comptek will highlight:
The Kontrox™ LASE 16 system, for edge-emitting laser-based surface treatment in optoelectronic manufacturing.
A commercial characterization setup, a high-precision micro-spectroscopy tool purpose-built for rapid material and device evaluation.
