Comptek Solutions Kicks Off 2026 at SPIE Photonics West

Comptek Solutions to exhibit at SPIE Photonics West 2026 as part of the Photonics Finland Pavilion.

Following our recent successful participation at SEMICON Japan 2025, Comptek Solutions is pleased to kick off the new year by announcing our participation at SPIE Photonics West 2026, taking place in January 2026 in San Francisco, USA. We will return to the world’s premier exhibition for optoelectronics as part of the Photonics Finland Pavilion, alongside other leading Finnish photonics companies.

At the exhibition, Comptek Solutions will highlight our core Kontrox™ passivation technology for compound semiconductor devices, enabling improved surface stability, optical performance, and long-term reliability. Central to our showcase is the Kontrox™ LASE 16, our flagship turnkey system for high-yield facet passivation of edge-emitting lasers, developed to enhance laser reliability and mitigate facet-related failure mechanisms, notably catastrophic optical mirror damage (COMD).

In parallel, we will present our scalable pilot-line capabilities for microLED and III–V device processing, supporting industrial-grade surface preparation and passivation. These offerings are reinforced by Comptek Solutions’ advanced process and characterization infrastructure, enabling consistent, application-ready performance from development to manufacturing.

Photonics West 2026 marks another important step in Comptek Solutions’ continued engagement with the global photonics community, and the team looks forward to meeting customers, partners, and industry peers in San Francisco.
